This church is an Art Deco landmark in Tulsa, a city
well-known for examples of all three phases of Art
Deco architecture. This image was made on a still day
with little wind. The camera was mounted on a sturdy
tripod and the remote release was used. Stan's website

The photograph is of Grant's Old Mill; an old water wheel powered grist mill on Sturgeon Creek not far from my house in Winnipeg. It is now a Historical site. The surrounding trees and water made it an ideal location for an IR photograph.

This image was taken in the Tulsa Garden Center
Greenhouse. The camera was tripod-mounted. I had to
wait until the ventilation fan cycled off and the
leaves were completely still because of the long
exposure time. The high ISO and low contrast from the
diffused light in the greenhouse give this image a
painterly appearance with plenty of "grain." Stan's website

This photo was shot from the ridge line east of Jazira, an oasis nestled in Oman's Hajar Mountains. The water behind the weir at the right turns up black, while the date palms and mango trees reflect IR well and turn up white. I chose to leave this showing the red channel because it didn't feel as strong in black and white. It was taken with a Nikon D-70 with a Nikkor 18-70mm AF-S DX f/3.5-4.5G lens and Hoya RM-72 infrared filter mounted on a Gitzo G2227 tripod and Really Right Stuff BH-55 ball head.

This is a statue of Saint Louis that stands out front of the St Louis Art Museum. I took a full color photo that lacks detail, but the IR photo gives this statue the extra detail and charactor that makes this a favorite of mine.
